Orteza: Joseph and Norah Orteza of Peru are the parents of a son, William Owen, born Feb. 8 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. He weighed 7 pounds, and measured 20 inches in length He was welcomed home by one brother, Henry, 9, and two sisters, Claudia, 11, and Olivia, 7. Maternal grandparent is Mary Toraason of Peru. Paternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Deofil Orteza of Princeton.

Bunzell: Ryley Bunzell and Danielle Zellmer of LaSalle are the parents of a daughter, Byrnadette Kathleen, born Jan. 28 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 20 1/2 inches in length. She was welcomed home by one brother, Joseph, 2 1/2. Maternal grandparents are Chuck Zellmer of Ladd and Jerry Walter of Oglesby. Paternal grandparent is Mary Bunzell of LaSalle. Great-grandparents are Wayne and Vickie Washkowiak, Glenn and Lena Zellmer, and Joseph and Alyce Bunzell.
