PES announces preschool screening clinic

PRINCETON — Princeton Elementary School District will hold its annual preschool screening clinic March 18 at the First United Methodist Church, 316 S. Church St. in Princeton.

Preschool screening is a state-required brief assessment of a child’s development in speech/language, gross and fine motor skills, and a vision and hearing assessment. This screening is for every 3-, 4- and 5-year-old child who resides in the school district and is not currently enrolled in school. The child must be 3 years old by the day of the clinic in order to be screened.

Appointments for screening can be made March 5 through March 13. For further information, or to make an appointment, call Jefferson Elementary School at 815-875-4417.
