Fleeing and attempting to elude police
Curt A. Koehler, 49, of Oglesby was charged with numerous citations following a pursuit begun by Oglesby police on Route 89 and ending in the 200 block of West Seventh Street in Spring Valley at 5:20 p.m. Feb. 4. Spring Valley police charged Koehler with reckless driving, fleeing and attempting to elude police, disobeying a stop sign, speeding, improper passing and endangering the life or health of a 9-year-old child who was also in the vehicle.
