Covered Bridge Chorus installs 2013 officers

PRINCETON — The Covered Bridge Chorus held its officer installation banquet on Jan. 26.

Officers installed were: Scott Lathrop, president; John Wabel, secretary; Gary Keffeler, treasurer; Dale Fiste, music and performance; Dale Wheeler, marketing and publicity; and Brian Hall, program vice president.

Installation duties were aptly performed by John Wabel. The “Barbershopper of the Year” award was presented to Dale Wheeler, a 20-year Barbershopper, who also serves as the assistant director. Entertainment was provided by “Second Wind” and members of the Covered Bridge Chorus.

The Covered Bridge Chorus enjoys membership in the Barbershop Harmony Society and performs throughout the area singing music inthe “Barbershop” style. They practice at the Prouty Building in Princeton every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Guests and new members are always welcome.
