Kewanee tops BV, caps 14-0 TRAC run

Bureau Valley may be the Storm, but Kewanee brewed up the perfect Storm in the Three Rivers Conference this boys’ basketball season.

The Boilers capped a 14-0 run through the TRAC with a 49-44 win over the visiting Storm at Brockman Gym in Kewanee Tuesday.

Ryan Hicks’ three-pointer gave the Boilermakers a 34-32 lead after three quarters. Freshman Donovan Oliver took care of the rest, scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter to carry the Boilers to victory.
