Steve and Julie Terstriep of Industry are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Leigh Michelle, to Scott Alden Bickerman. He is the son of Jim and Beth Bickerman of Princeton.

The bride-elect graduated from Rushville-Industry High School in 2006 and from Western Illinois University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is employed as a second-grade teacher in Beardstown.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2009 graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in turf management. He is employed as the  superintendent at the Carthage Golf Club.
