Friday night at the hoops

St. Bede held on for a 46-45 win over host Princeton Friday at Prouty Gymnasium. The Tigers' Austen Stewart hit a three-pointer with 1.8 seconds left, but the Bruins were able to inbound the ball deep and run out the clock.

Damin Smith scored a game-high 13 points for the Bruins (22-5) with Austin Mack and Cole Evenson each netting 10 points for the Tigers (6-21).

St. Bede also rallied to win the sophomore game 53-52.
