Mr. and Mrs. Ross Clayton of Princeton will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary today, Thursday.

Ross Clayton and the former Alberta Goodale were married Feb. 21, 1948, by the Rev. James Fresh, pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Princeton. They are the parents of two sons, Tom (Marilyn) Clayton of Princeton and Lonnie Clayton (deceased). They have three grandchildren, Randy Clayton of Princeton, Ryan (Kristin) Clayton of Waukee, Iowa, and Jennifer (Tom) Schaefer of Chicago. They also have seven great-grandchildren, Emma. Aniston and Ava Clayton of Waukee, Iowa, and Clayton, Abigail, Brooke and Claire Schaefer of Chicago.

The couple farmed in Dover Township and Alberta worked at Perry Memorial Hospital in medical records.
