Bureau County teens were honored Feb. 15 at an Elks Teen of the Month luncheon sponsored by Princeton Elks Lodge 1461. February nominees include (front row, from left) Daniel Bonucci, Princeton High School; Claudia Szczepaniak, St. Bede Academy; Melissa Dunn, Ohio High School, Samuel Lucas, St. Bede Academy; and (back row) Penny Best, Elks exalted ruler and Teen of the Month chair; Drew Lechner, Hall High School; Krista Naaktgeboren, Bureau Valley High School; Joseph Bacidore, LaMoille High School; Katie Hoffert, Hall High School; Jordan Monier, Bureau Valley High School; Aubrey Smith, Princeton High School; and Ezacel Sandoval, DePue High School. Teens of the month were Szczepaniak and Dunn. The Teen of the Month nominees were chosen by their schools based on their character, leadership, scholarship, service, citizenship and community service.
