Area residents Cindy Varland (from left), Kaitlyn Smith, Donna Brown, Joyce Coppejans, Lilly Olson and Deb Lindberg display some of the 15 quilted lap robes completed for donation to the Muscular Tissue Foundation in honor of Brown’s husband, Bill, and son, Rob, pictures of whom are being held by Brown. The women met Monday morning at the Bureau County Senior Center in Princeton to continue work on additional quilts. Brown said another five quilts were mailed in January and sent to the Muscular Tissue Foundation.
