Lionesses advance in SRC tourney

Both volleyball squads from Princeton Logan Junior High School advanced in Starved Rock Conference Tournament play Saturday at Streator.

In the seventh grade, No. 3 Logan defeated (6) Spring Valley JFK. Logan will next play the winner between No. 2 Ottawa and No. 7 Mendota.

The Logan eighth-grade squad defeated No. 5 LaSalle Lincoln to advance to face top-seed Peru Parkside on Tuesday.
