PHS announces cast for upcoming production

PRINCETON — Princeton High School students and 22 munchkins (third through fifth graders) under the direction of Aaron Kaufmann and Joy Schertz have been preparing for the production of “The Wizard of Oz” at Princeton High School.

Beginning at 7 p.m. March 15 and 16, the well-known story which reminds all viewers “there is no place like home” will come alive on the Sally Skinner Auditorium stage as Princeton High School’s spring musical.

Tickets for the production are $8 and can be reserved by calling 815-875-3308, ext. 357, or by downloading an order form at PHS’ website.

The cast is led by Kathryn Krieger as Dorothy, Miles Rose as Scarecrow, Lucas Bauers as Tinman, Josh Fullerton as Lion, Sheila Ferguson as Wicked Witch of the West and Anjali Patel as Glinda. Featured dancers are Kate Morrow, Laura Behrends, Stephanie Blessman, Kerry Ryan, Aubrey Smith and Taylor Tieman. Other performers are Hunter Rodda, Peter Wang, Maddie McKeown, Noah Currie, Emily Boes, Kiley Korey, Brandy Molitor, Emily Willis, Nichole Worgess, Genevieve Prushinski, Abbie Bickett, Katie Elliott, Samantha Holt, Hailey Hedden, Jade Purvis, Kim Schlesinger, Trent Maupin, Nick Warren, Chloe Baron, Paige Clark, Olivia Joehl, Brianna Legner, Megan Manahan, Danielle Spevak and Miriam Moore.

Munchkins are Katie Bates, Mia Bowen, Hope Crouch, Margaret Davis, Olivia Eiken, Andrew Ellis, Graycee Funderberg, Isabelle Gerber, Addison Grove, Emily Hartman, Andrea Imsland, Kennedy Kloepping, Cearra LaPlante, Jenna Loftus, Brookelyn Matznick, Brianna Monaghan, Allison Morton, Abby Peterson, Mary Riva, Giovanni Romagnoli, Nyla Thompson and Morgan Wood.
