A new grading system in LaMoille?
LAMOILLE — The LaMoille School Board met Monday night to peel through a list of new business.
Parents presented a proposal to change the grading scale in the school system. The proposal asks the school grade on a scale similar to what colleges use.
LaMoille schools still use a system that instead of 90 to 100 being an A, the student has to score a 93 or better. Some parents are asking for the school to adopt the standard 90-100 equals an A, 80-89 a B, 70-79 a C, etc.
