Marquis speaks at Rotary luncheon

PRINCETON — Jason Marquis, production manager for Marquis Energy in Hennepin, was the guest speaker the Feb. 5 Rotary luncheon.

Marquis Energy is most recognized in the area for its production of ethanol, however many were intrigued to learn of Marquis’ involvement in the crude oil market from the Bakken Shale region of North Dakota specifically related to the logistics of shipping the oil from rail to barge down to the Gulf Coast refineries.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in their own communities, as well as in the world.
