‘Pink Night’ event held in DePue

PRINCETON — In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness, Perry Memorial Hospital and DePue High School recently hosted a “Pink Night” at a DePue Little Giants boys’ basketball game.

Perry Memorial Hospital and the Bureau County Health Department had information regarding breast cancer awareness and the importance of self breast exams, as well as fun “pink” items to give each attendee.

The teachers and students at DePue High School sold T-shirts and worked hard to raise $500 which they donated to Perry Memorial Hospital.
