PRINCETON — The Princeton City Council conducted the following business at its Feb. 19 meeting in City Hall:
• Took roll call of council members, with all members present, and said the Pledge of Allegiance.
• Opened a public comment period, with no one from the public present.
• Approved minutes for the Feb. 4 regular council meeting.
• Approved payment of bills as follows: $364,880 in the Department of Public Affairs and Department of Accounts and Finances; $94,776 in the Department of Public Health, Safety and Civil Defense; $107,770 in the Department of Streets and Public Improvements; $588,343 in the Department of Public Property Utilities.
• Commissioner Bob Warren announced the city is accepting sealed bids for a three-year mowing contract with bid specifications available through City Hall. The deadline for receiving bids is 2 p.m. March 14 at City Hall. The bids will be opened at this time.
• Heard City Manager Jeff Clawson “pass” on giving a city manager report.
• Heard there was no old business or new business to discuss.
• After seven minutes, the council went into closed session to discuss pending litigation. The closed session lasted about 15 minutes, with no action taken afterwards in open session.
