NORMAL - Annawan's quest for a IHSA State girls basketball championship came up one-point short at ISU'S Redbird Arena, where the Bravettes fell to defending state champ Freeport Aquin 39-38.
The Bravettes (29-3) will face Cowden-Herrick for third-place at noon Saturday. Aquin will meet Mt. Pulaski for the championship.
