Peoples National Bank marks 85th anniversary

KEWANEE – Founded in 1928, Peoples State Savings Bank opened its doors on the corner of Second and Tremont streets in downtown Kewanee.

After eventually becoming a national charter and moving into its current location, Peoples National Bank of Kewanee still operates under the ideas of tradition and great service and now celebrates 85 years of operation on Friday. To commemorate the occasion, the bank will hold a special celebration.

Since its founding, Peoples National Bank of Kewanee has grown into a total of seven locations. PNB currently operates in Kewanee, Annawan, Bradford, Manlius, Sheffield, and Tampico.
