BVN names spelling bee champs
This year’s Bureau Valley North Spelling Bee Champion was Gailen Gibson (left), winning with the word “provoke”. Runner-up was Billy Newbourg. Eight Bureau Valley North eighth-grade students participated in a spelling bee Feb. 20 at Bureau Valley North.
