Church societies to merge

DALZELL — The men's and women's societies of St. Thomas More Catholic Church have decided to merge following a meeting held after Saturday Mass Feb. 16.
The newly elected officials are president, Beverly Gualandri; vice president, Liz Olivero; secretary, Angela Nave; treasurer, Carlo Olivero; and publicity/public relations, Christine Garncarz.
During themeeting members decided to start a fundraising project to benefit the church.
A spaghetti dinner, which will include salad, dessert, coffee or lemonade, will be held April 14. Prices and more information will be decided at the March 2 meeting following the 5:30 p.m. Mass in the church hall.
All old and new members are welcome to join and help with this project.
