Quilters Guild meeting

PRINCETON — The Covered Bridge Quilters Guild will meet at 7 p.m. March 7 at Christ Community Church in Princeton. Guests are welcome to attend for a fee of $5. The program will be Donna Langford, who will teach quilt preservation. Yvonne Mormon will present a workshop on folded fabric on March 9 at Christ Community Church.

Rummage sale

CHERRY — Proceeds from a rummage and bake sale on March 29-30 will be used for pay expenses for the returning Christmas in Cherry celebration to be held in December. Anyone wanting to donate items for the sale may drop them off at the church hall from 4 to 6:30 p.m. March 26 and March 27 or from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 28.

Buddy bags

MANLIUS — Churches, businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to an organizational meeting at 3 p.m. March 5 to promote weekend meals called Buddy Bags and help stamp out hunger in Bureau Valley school students. The meeting will at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manlius.

Donations needed

PRINCETON — Colonial Hall is looking for donations of candy or money to purchase candy for its annual area children’s Easter egg hunt. For information, call 815-875-3347.
