Jack Christianson

BUREAU — Jack F. Christianson, 84, of Bureau passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley.

He was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Peoria. He graduated from East Peoria High School in 1946. He married Anna Erwin on Aug. 27, 1975, in Ottawa. He was with New York Life Insurance Company for 50 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack was a dedicated husband and family man.

Jack is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna Christianson of Bureau; six children, Bryan (Rose) Christianson of Florida, and Monica Christianson, Tim Christianson, Yens Christianson, Susie Christianson and John Christianson, all of the Peoria area; five stepchildren, Terry (Steve) Marroquin of Seatonville, William Duffell of Bureau, Lori (Bob) Cotter of Millstadt, Billy Raye (Melissa) Tillotson of DePue and John (Pauline) Tillotson of East Peoria; and 14 grandchildren, especially his granddaughter Polma Christianson. His very special companion, his dog, Mimi, also survives.
