PRINCETON — Today, Thursday, an after-school craft day will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the youth services area.

TISKILWA — The next children’s story time will be at 4 p.m. March 12. The theme will be “Easter Fun.” Games, stories and treats are planned for kids of all ages.

Head librarian Karyn Stark encourages everyone to visit the library’s new website at www.tisklib.org.

“Anyone with Internet access can utilize this new library tool,” she said. “We are pleased to offer everyone the ability to search our collection by using the search box in the upper right hand corner of our home page. WALNUT — Winter Adult Enrichment classes are at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays. All classes will be held in the library, except the CPR class. The cost is $10 per class. If a class charges more than $10, it will be noted. Payment for the class must be made at the time you reserve your spot. Reservation payments can be sent to Walnut Public Library, PO Box 728, Walnut, IL 61376-0728, or stop in at 101 Heaton St.

Upcoming classes:

March 9: CPR Class — The price will be $30 a person or $40 a couple. The class will be held in the Walnut Community Building at 129 S. Main St. If you need certification or to be re-certified, this class is for you.

Future classes are in the works. Check back to this spot to see what’s new.

A reminder: The library now has three binders full of coupons to exchange. There is no limit on how many coupons may be taken. If you have coupons you don’t use, please bring them to the library, even the expired coupons. What can’t be used in the binders is sent to troops serving overseas.

SPRING VALLEY — Tonight, Thursday, the Richard A. Mautino Library will celebrate “Family Reading Night” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There will be a book hunt (a game for the entire family). There is no charge to participate. Prizes will be given for successful sleuths. Call the library at (815) 663-4741 to register.
