Police remind residents of parking restrictions during snowfall
PRINCETON — Police Chief Tom Root reminded Princeton residents today, Tuesday, of parking restrictions during a 3-inch or more snowfall.
Root said it is unlawful to park any vehicle on any public street, alley or municipally owned or leased parking lot at any time within 12 hours after a snowfall of 3 inches or more has occurred or until the snow has been removed from that area.
Vehicles parked in violation of this restriction may be removed at the owners expense.
Parking tickets will be issued by the police department for violations after 3 inches of snow has fallen.
