Thursday night hoops update
The season came to a close for the PC Panthers at RM Germano Gymnasium Thursday, where they lost to Colfax Ridgeview 65-54 in 1A sectional boys basketball.
Friday's finals at PC will match Ridgeview vs. No. 1 ranked Mason City Illini Central.
Farmington 2A sectional: Fieldcrest knocked off Rockridge 56-52 in Thursday's sectional semifinal play. Next up for the Knights will be a rematch of last year's sectional title game at Princeton where FC won its first sectional in school history.
