PRINCETON — The Princeton Jaycees will host a lawnmower service fundraiser from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Hodge Welding in Princeton, 1102 W. Peru St. Services include blade sharpening, air filter cleaning, and deck and engine cleaning. Push or walk behind mowers only. The cost is $10 and all proceeds will go toward the Jaycees Scholarship Fund.
PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton will hold a spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. March 16 at the Legion post home, 1549 W. Peru St. in Princeton. Tickets will be available at the door for $6 for adults, $3 for ages 10 and under. There will be a 50/50 drawing plus a bakery table and something new this year will be a Country Store. The Auxiliary will serve spaghetti, meatballs with sauce, salad with dressings, garlic bread sticks, beverages and desserts. This is a major fundraiser for the Auxiliary.
PRINCETON — Colonial Hall is looking for donations of candy or money to purchase candy for its annual area children’s Easter egg hunt on March 23. Either drop off donations at Colonial Hall or call 815-875-3347 and the donations will be picked up.
PERU — Illinois Valley PADS, a local homeless shelter, will have its monthly board of directors meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Lily PADS Boutique, 4471 Progress Blvd. in Peru. The public is invited.
