IVCC falls in regional, Murray hurt

Illinois Valley Community College’s sophomore guard tandem of Alec Schwab and Michael Murray have been honored by the Arrowhead Conference.

Schwab of Peru, a graduate of St. Bede Academy, was named first team all-conference and Murray, a Princeton High School graduate, was named to the second team.

Schwab averaged 21.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in conference. Murray averaged 14.2 points and 9.3 rebounds, while shooting 53 percent from the floor and 78 percent from the free throw line.
