Keeping a 'PROMise'

Nicole Wheeler and daughter, Malena Wheeler, shop for a prom dress Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. The church accepted donations of new or gently-used dresses, and received 566 dresses from the community. On Saturday, 111 dresses were sold, with each buyer also receiving a goodie bag with coupons from Bead Buzz, Designs By Liana Rae, Marien Mae, LeSoleil, Guys n’ Gals, Jillian’s, Skin Dimensions and Habanero’s. There were also door prizes donated by Skin Dimensions, Mark Allen’s Restaurant and Prime Quarter.
