PRINCETON — Patrick H. Kohr, 82, of Princeton passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Colonial Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Princeton.
Born Feb. 10, 1931, in Cherry to John and Sarah (O’Taggart) Kohr, he married Louise Tanari Nov. 10, 1956, in St. Benedict Church in Ladd. She survives.
He had been a department head at Union Carbide in Ottawa and Viscase in Centerville. He had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955.
He was a member of the Cherry Booster Club, had volunteered with the Boy Scout Troop 55 and was a democratic precinct committeeman in Westfield Township.
Also surviving are five children, Michael P. (Bonny) Kohr of Princeton, John P. Kohr of Ladd, Maria T. (Matthew) Warren of Aledo, Daniel J. Kohr of Glenview and Amy L. (Terry) Harmon of Princeton; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, John (Wanda) Kohr of California and William (Joyce) Kohr of Cherry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Patrick J. Kohr; and three sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Fiocchi Funeral Home, Cherry, with the Rev. Paul Meismer officiating. Interment will follow in the Ladd Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday in the funeral home.
