Remodeling work begins on new pizza parlor
PRINCETON — The former Nelson’s Drug Store in Princeton will eventually become a pizza plaza called Maria’s Pizza 2.
Vince Mazzarisi of Dixon bought the vacant building about a month ago. A crew of people came to Princeton on Monday to clean out the building and were able to fill up one dumpster with discarded items.
“We expect to be open in three months and everything will be brand new,” said Mazzarisi. “We want this to be a really authentic pizza parlor.”
