Sharin' the blarney

Storytellers Tricia Kelly and Mick Henneberry will entertain audiences with their Irish stories with their “Two Irish Tellers” program at 7 p.m. March 15 at the Prairie Arts Center, located at 24 Park Ave. East in Princeton.

Looking at their Irish backgrounds, Henneberry said he had an Irish grandfather who regaled the family with wondrous tales. Kelly, also from an Irish background, said she is a firm believer that “a little bit of truth and a whole lot of blarney” make for a great story. Both Henneberry and Kelly have attended the National Storytelling Festival in Tennessee and have years of story telling experience. Tickets for the March 15 “Two Irish Tellers” program are $10 for teens and adults, with a $5 admission cost for children ages 12 and younger.
