A card shower is being held to celebrate the 85th birthday of Wilma Walter of Arlington.

Wilma was born March 28, 1928, in rural Princeton. She married Ivan Walter on Jan. 15, 1950, in Seatonville. She has five children, Carl Walter of rural Spring Valley, Bonnie (Barry) Burkman of rural Princeton, Sherry (Steve) Metz of rural Fairbury, Pat (Larry) Pearson of rural Arlington and Dorrie (Steve) Simon of Owatonna, Minn. She also has nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wilma is a homemaker and enjoys gardening, sewing, quilting and other crafts. She loves to spend time with family and friends. She will celebrate her birthday with a gathering of family and friends.
