LAMOILLE —Thirty-eight LaMoille students will head to Florida in less than two weeks to perform at Disney World.

On Friday, LaMoille High School and Allen Junior High music instructor Alexandra Schifler said this is the first time in many years that students from the LaMoille Music Department have taken an out-of-state trip to perform. The choir and band students, accompanied by 12 adults, will leave on a charter bus on March 23 from the school and return to LaMoille on March 27.

While in Disney World, the LaMoille musicians, seventh-graders through juniors, will have a one-day outdoor performance and will perform with the Disney World choir and band. In keeping with the theme of the park, all music will be Disney music, such as “Beauty and the Beast” and songs from the “Mary Poppins” movie, Schifler said.
