PRINCETON — Professional Home Economists of Bureau County will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of Barbara Mills, 1810 S. Euclid Ave. Master gardener Carol Dremann will present a program on “Wild Edibles,” a talk on how to find, identify and use edible plants found in nature. Marian Lovgren will be co-hostess. Woodcrafter’s meeting

PRINCETON — The regular monthly meeting of the Woodcrafter’s Unlimited will be Thursday at the Bureau County Senior Center, 16 W. Marion St. Show and tell will start at 6:30 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Scroll saw artists John Damon will demonstrate different kinds of scroll saw work. Bob Folty will report on the Wood Expo he attended in Amish country. Anyone interest in crafts, carpentry, turning or carving are welcome to the meetings. For more information, call 815-442-8454.

Easter egg hunt

PRINCETON — The Princeton Optimist Club annual Easter hunt will be held at 10 a.m. March 30 on the lawns of the Bureau County Courthouse and Soldiers and Sailors Park. The Easter bunny will be there also.

Wild game stag

MALDEN — An all-you-can-eat wild game stag will be from 5 p.m. to midnight March 23 at the Vet’s Club on South Street in Malden. There will be a wide variety of wild game and also domestic food. Carry-outs will be available. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. For directions, call the Club at 815-643-2025.

Princeton Coffeehouse

PRINCETON — Michigan singer/songwriters Jan Krist and Jim Bizer will return to the Princeton Coffeehouse at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. They last appeared at the Coffeehouse in 2008. The Princeton Coffeehouse is located at the Open Prairie UCC Church, 25 E. Marion St., in downtown Princeton. Admission is $12. at the door. The venue is completely accessible and there is ample free parking nearby. Doors open at 7 p.m. Fair trade coffee, tea and homemade desserts are available.
