Easter egg hunts throughout the area

BUDA — An Easter egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the park.

LADD — An Easter egg hunt for the children and grandchildren of Ladd residents ages 0 through fourth grade will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ladd Community Center. In addition to the hunt, there will be photos with the Easter bunny, treats, coloring, face painting and crafts. Children are asked to bring their own basket for the hunt. The event is sponsored by the Ladd Recreation Board.

MALDEN — The Malden eighth-grade cheerleaders will sponsor an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday on the lawn behind the school and playground. In case of rain, the egg hunt will be in the school. The three age groups will be 9 months to age 4, kindergarten through second grade, and third through fourth grades. Prizes will be awarded. Limit of six eggs per child. A donation box to help defray costs will be available.

PRINCETON — Christ Community Church, 1719 S. Euclid Ave., Princeton will hold an Easter egg hunt for children 3 years old through fifth grade at 3 p.m. Saturday.

PRINCETON — The Princeton Moose Lodge’s annual Easter egg hunt will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Lodge. The Lodge will also hold a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Both events are open to the public.

PRINCETON — The fourth annual Queens Easter egg hunt will at 1 p.m. Saturday. The hunt will begin at the Allen Building at the fairgrounds. Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods for the food pantry. There is no charge for participants. The age divisions are 0 to 2, 3 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10, and 11 to 12.

PRINCETON — The Princeton Optimist Club’s annual Easter hunt will be at 10 a.m. Saturday on the lawns of the Bureau County Courthouse and Soldiers and Sailors Park. The Easter bunny will be there also.

SHEFFIELD — The Sheffield Lions Club will sponsor an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday in West Park. Age categories are 4- and 5- year-olds, first and second grades, and third and fourth grades.

TISKILWA — All children in the Tiskilwa community between 2 years old through the third grade are invited to the annual Allen Murphy family sponsored Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Reagan Middle School playground. In case of rain, the Easter bunny will leave eggs to be distributed underneath the bus loading area.

WYANET — An Easter egg hunt will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Veterans Park.
