Peacock spreads his wings for St. Bede
PERU — St. Bede Academy junior James Peacock wrestled with more confidence this season for the Bruins. And it showed.
Peacock finished the season 23-8, winning in the regional at Rock Falls to move onto the sectional. He also won the Seneca Irish Invitational and finished second at the Polo and Amboy Triangular meets.
For those accomplishments, the 132-pounder from Princeton has been named as the 2012-13 BCR Wrestler of the Year.
