• The LaMoille Community District 303 will host a candidate forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the LaMoille High School cafeteria. This will be an opportunity for the public to meet and pose questions of the school board candidates prior to the April 9 election.
There are four openings on the LaMoille School Board. Incumbent Mary Ann Schwingle and newcomers Kevin Hildebrand, Roger Moore and Earl Stuepfert are running for the three four-year terms. Incumbent Mary Taylor is running for the unexpired, two-year term.
• In Wyanet, the Wyanet Community Club will host a mayoral candidate forum at 7 p.m. April 2 at the Wyanet VFW Hall. Bruce Hand and Tom Odell are both seeking the position of mayor. Hand is the incumbent mayor; Odell is currently serving as a village trustee.
