Princeton Citizens Police Academy set for April 2

PRINCETON — On April 2, the Princeton Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy will again be open to residents of Princeton 21 years or older, who are interested in learning more abut how their police department operates and the policing challenges facing the city.

The class will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday for a 10-week course. The curriculum has been designed to be informative as well as beneficial, and will be presented in a manner that is enjoyable for everyone who attends.

Participants will learn different aspects of the police department, including a tour of the police station, a K-9 demonstration, criminal justice systems, community policing, crime scene techniques, a ride-along with a uniformed officer and much more.
