BVN Leprechaun and Music Night with Pre-K
On Feb. 28, the school cafeteria became a hideout for a band of leprechauns. David Larkin, Bureau Valley North music teacher, started the evening off as he led everyone in music and movement activities. After doing the jig, the parents and children began the process of making leprechauns. Lucky for everyone they were made of cans, popsicle sticks and plastic macaroni and cheese/applesauce containers. Parents and children enjoyed decorating their leprechauns with a variety of items: ribbons, jewels, cloth, string, colored paper, stickers, etc. You name it; imagination was flowing.
