SBA, PHS players earn NCIC honors

The NCIC has released its All-Conference Basketball teams for the final season of the long-time league, now consisting only of Princeton, St. Bede and IVC.

The first team all-conference boys’ team consists of Brad Groleau and Joe Pyszka from league champ St. Bede; A.J. Johnson and Reilly Owens of IVC; and Cole Evenson of Princeton.

The second team includes Josh Kieffer and Austin Mack of Princeton; Damin Smith and Sam Lucas of St. Bede; and Sam Reuter of IVC.

For the girls, league champ St. Bede placed Mo Dean, Lydia Stariha and Whitley Funfsinn to the first team, with Princeton’s Makenzey Wilson and IVC’s Candis Rudolph.

Honorable mention honors went to Princeton’s Emmalee Sears and Zoe Mead, St. Bede’s Laura Sickley and IVC’s Sarah Larson and Erica Larson.
