These snowdrops are always the first spring flowers to bloom — even through the standing snow, and despite unseasonably cold temperatures, they didn’t disappoint this year either. The spring equinox officially began Wednesday, however, don’t expect to see many more flowers blooming for a while. Temperatures are still expected to be well below normal, and snow is in the forecast for late in the weekend.
