Albert Anderson

PRINCETON — Albert "Al" Louis Anderson, 83, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on April 1, 1929, in Henry, Ill., to William "Briggs" and Mary (Watts) Anderson. He married Dorothy J. Heuer on Aug. 17, 1946. She survives.

Al was a foreman at Advanced Asphalt for 30 plus years before retiring. He also owned and operated Al's Lock and Key and repaired bicycles. Al very much enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren.

Al is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Anderson of Princeton; his children, Sandra Beauprez of Princeton, Connie Slutz of LaMoille, Carolyn Welch of Bethany and Darrin Anderson of Oshkosh, Wis.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Russell, Willis, and Ramon; one son, Alan Anderson; and one grandson, Henry Anderson.

All services will take place at a later date and will be announced at that time.
