PRINCETON — Dorothy M. Daniel, 94, of Princeton, formerly of Peru, died at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Manor Court in Princeton.
She was born June 17, 1918, in La Salle to Peter and Mary (Kasperski) Klug. She married Edward Daniel on Nov. 30, 1935, in St. Valentine’s Church.
She worked at the Igloo Drive-In for 50 years until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Valentine Church, Peru.
Survivors include one daughter, Rose Marie Lund of Princeton; one son, Michael (Carol) Daniel of LaCrosse, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edward J. Daniel; a brother, Joseph Klug; a son-in-law, Richard Lund; one great-grandson and one great-great-granddaughter
A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday in St. Mary’s Church, Peru, with the Rev. William Gardner officiating. Burial will be at St. Valentine Cemetery, Spring Valley.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the church. Ptak Funeral Home, Peru, is handling the arrangements.
