Now is the time

On the April 9 ballot, property owners in the Hall High School District No. 502 are being asked to approve a referendum to build a new $32 million high school. The average age of the current structure is 74 years with over 50 percent of the educational areas 99 years old. Significant monies ($18.2 million) must be spent to make improvements to life safety, electrical, handicap accessibility, site security and fire safety, with no educational improvements. Now is the time to build a new school. We have been granted a 30-year waiver for repayment of the loan and interest rates are at an all-time low.
