Trivia night

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille and Ohio Athletic Boosters will host a Trivia Night on Saturday at the LaMoille Lions Club, 308 Howard St. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and trivia will start at 7 p.m. Teams will consist of 6 to 10 people. The entry fee is $100 per team. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. There will be a silent auction, raffles, a cash bar and snacks. WYANET — Wyanet Community Club will host a cookout from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wyanet Locker. The menu will include rib eyes, butterfly chops, pork burgers, brats, hot dogs, chips and pop.

GFWC meeting

PRINCETON — The GFWC Woman’s Club of Princeton will meet for the annual meeting and luncheon at 12:20 p.m. Monday at the Ye Olde Underground Inn, 219 S. Sixth St., Princeton. A vocal program will be presented by Joyce Bickett. Lunch will be ordered from the menu, and Lola Huffaker will be the hostess for the meeting.

Bake sale

PRINCETON — A bake sale to benefit 9-year-old Riley Crowe will begin at 9 a.m. April 13 at Darius Miller Park in Princeton. Ryan was recently diagnosed with leukemia and was transferred to St. Jude’s in Memphis, Tenn., for six to eight weeks to have chemo and bone marrow testing, among other testing. Proceeds from the event will help with financial issues that may arise while the family is in Tennessee.

Euchre tournament

PRINCETON — The Princeton Rotary Club will host a euchre tournament at 6:30 p.m. April 25 at the Ye Olde Underground Inn in Princeton. The cost is $20 per person, which includes a rib eye steak dinner with potato and salad, and tournament fees. The winner will receive a cash prize. R.S.V.P. by April 18 by calling 815-303-8276.

Music tribute

PRINCETON — “Simply Patsy,” a tribute to the music of Patsy Cline, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. April 12 at the Grace Performing Arts Center, 316 S, Main St,, Princeton. Mary Pfeifer performs the songs of the legendary country music singer. Individual tickets are $18. Meeting set

PRINCETON — The Princeton Junior Home Extension will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Dorothy Johnson, co-hostess, in Princeton.

Jazz concert

PRINCETON — An evening of jazz, featuring the Logan Junior High School Jazz Band and the Illinois Valley Community College Jazz Band, will be April 30 at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors.

Legion meeting
