Auxiliary, Legion will meet on Wednesday

PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton will conduct its April business meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Legion home. Anyone interested in eligible membership, or to transfer, are most welcome to attend this or any regular business meeting for membership information.

The Unit will discuss plans for hosting the annual Auxiliary District 16 Spring meeting on May 11 at the post home, 1549 W. Peru St., Princeton. The lunch menu and continental breakfast will be discussed and finalized and donations will be needed from members for certain food items.

VA&R chairman Clara Pease will announce upcoming veterans workshop dates and the needed items for the treat sacks also.

Proceeds will be learned from the March spaghetti supper.

Roger L. Eickmeier American Legion Post 125 of Princeton will also conduct its regular business meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the post home. Anyone interested in eligible membership, or to transfer to Post 125, should attend this or any regular business meeting on the second Wednesday of each month.

Legion business will be discussed with information on the upcoming fundraisers to be discussed. Other reports will also be heard.

The legion building is available for graduation parties, funeral lunches, family reunions, rummage sales, fundraisers, smaller receptions, business meetings, baby showers, bridal/anniversary celebrations, etc. For information, call the post home at 815-872-1171 and leave a message.

A light lunch will be served after the meetings.
