Elizabeth Taylor of Champaign and Nicholas Dornik of Champaign were united in marriage Sept. 29 in the Spring Valley United Church of Christ.

The bride is the daughter of James and Billie Jean Taylor of Spring Valley. The groom is the son of John and Pam Dornik of Oglesby.

Kimberly Ward, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Ward, Ali Surerus and Anna Konradi, all friends of the bride. Lydia Dornik, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.

Alex Voitik, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Neil Dornik and Kevin Dornik, brothers of the groom, and Andrew Taylor, brother of the bride. Ethan Dornik, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

A reception to honor the couple was held at the Deer Park Country Club in Oglesby.

After a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple is making their home in Champaign.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Hall High School in Spring Valley, a 2008 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington and a 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law in Urbana-Champaign. She is an assistant state’s attorney for the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office in Urbana.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of St. Bede Academy and attends the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He is a mechanical designer at Sony Biotechnology in Champaign.
