April brings 'Rain Drops On Roses'

Gary Talsky, Cyndy Bruch, Joe Bantista and Lindsey Pogh rehearse for the opening of River Valley Players’ “The Sound of Music.” Performances will be April 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 at St. Mary’s Community Center in Henry. Based on a true story, “The Sound of Music” is the masterful retelling of the family of von Trapp singers with music from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s final collaboration such as “Climb Every Mountain,” “Do Re Mi” and “My Favorite Things.”. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday performances are $26.50 which includes a meal at 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 12:30 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets for Friday performances are $15.50 and include the show only.
