Driving under the influence of alcohol

Burton C. Mayers, 47, of Spring Valley was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, improper backing, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to wear a seat belt and obstructing identification at the intersection of Power and Devlin streets at 1:24 a.m. April 6.


Megan D. Theobald, 36, of Spring Valley was charged with battery after she allegedly struck a 35-year-old female in the face following an altercation in the 100 block of East Erie Street at 9:48 p.m. April 7.

Warrant arrest

Josey L. Beavers, 20, of Spring Valley was arrested on a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 200 block of West Devlin Street at 5:06 p.m. April 5.


Jean A. Babcock, 64, of Spring Valley backed into a car belonging to Valerie J. Griffin, 57, of Oglesby at the Shell Gas Station in the 400 block of West Dakota Street at 6:11 p.m. April 9.

Teresa A. Case, 44, of Spring Valley was involved in an accident on Less Buzz Way at 12:45 p.m. April 7.

John F. McCormick, 65, of Spring Valley backed into a car belonging to Tracy E. Entiwistle, 40, of Oglesby in the McDonald’s parking lot in the 800 block of West Dakota Street at 8 a.m. April 6.

Joseph R. Michael, 63, of Oglesby struck a parked car belonging to Kathy M. Sienza, 52, of Oglesby in the St. Margaret’s Hospital parking lot at 8:15 a.m. April 8.
