MENDOTA — Elaine R. Kutter, 92, passed into a new life at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, in the Mendota Lutheran Home.
Born Aug. 30, 1920, in Peru to Ralph and Rose (Pinter) Peters, she married Harold Kutter Sept. 10, 1941, in St. John’s Lutheran “Church on the Hill”. He survives.
She was a homemaker and worked later at Home and Garden Shop in Princeton.
Also surviving are two daughters, Judy (Lloyed) Marlar of Bolingbrook and Lynn (Robert) Kinney of Rockford; one sister, Arlet Lunn of Stroudsburg, Pa.; one brother, Dale Peters of Mendota; one nephew, Barry (Madelyn) Lunn of Saylorsburg, Pa.; three great-nephews; one stepgranddaughter; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Mildred Kutter, and one brother-in-law, Robert Lunn.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. April 20 in St. John’s Lutheran “Church on the Hill” in Hollowayville with the Rev. Kim Lee-Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Peru City Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services in the church.
